What should we wear to our wedding dance lessons?
Wear something comfortable that allows you to move and practice safely — athletic wear, stretchy pants, or dresses that won’t restrict movement. Depending on your wedding outfit, it’s not a bad idea to bring or wear something similar to what you’ll have on for the big day. What kind of footwear is best for dance lessons?
Smooth-soled shoes (like leather-soled dress shoes or ballroom practice shoes) work best. Avoid rubber soles, heavy boots, or sneakers. Even for grooms and groomsmen, we recommend bringing or wearing something similar to your wedding shoes — it helps you get used to the feel and balance ahead of time.
How long is each dance session?
Our private wedding dance lessons are 45 minutes long — long enough to learn, refine, and practice at a relaxed pace. Want extra time? You can book two sessions back-to-back for a 90-minute extended lesson.
Do we need any prior dance experience?
No experience needed — seriously. Most of our couples are total beginners, and our instructors are pros at making you feel confident and comfortable on the dance floor.
